PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast travels to Meridian on Tuesday, still looking for its first win of the season.

 

Kickoff against the Eagles is at 5 p.m.

•    MGCCC: 0-4-1/0-2-1 MACJC South, 4th place in division

•    Meridian: 1-3-1/0-2 MACJC South, 5th place in division

Last Time Out

•    MGCCC tied Southwest 1-1 on Friday at Perkinston. The teams were tied at 1 after regulation, thanks to a goal by Isabella Weaver (Fr., Vancleave/Vancleave), then could break the tie in 20 minutes of overtime. Kaylee Van Norman (So., Hartfield Academy/Brandon) had two saves.

•    Meridian lost 7-0 to Jones on Friday in Ellisville.

Previous Meeting

Curissa Beatty scored less than three minutes into overtime to give Gulf Coast a 1-0 win on Oct. 5, 2018. It clinched a playoff spot for the Bulldogs.

•    Saturday, Sept. 14, at Itawamba, Fulton, 1 p.m.

•    Sunday, Sept. 15, at Northwest, Senatobia, 1 p.m.

•    Wednesday, Sept. 18, vs. Holmes, Perkinston, 5 p.m.
