ELLISVILLE – Add another honor to the list for Daisha Bradford.
The Jones College sophomore has been named a First Team NJCAA Division I All-American.
Bradford was recently named a WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) Two-Year Coaches All-American.
Bradford, a 5-foot-9 guard from Leflore High School in Mobile, Alabama, led Jones in scoring (17.3 points) and rebounding (7.0). She was second in the MACCC in scoring. She led the team in assists (95), steals (60) and blocked shots (16). She shot 44 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free throw line.
Bradford scored a season-high 38 points at Meridian on March 8. She had six double-doubles on the year.
Bradford is the fifth All-American to be coached at Jones by head coach Missy Bilderback, joining Alexis Tolefree (two-time), Nique Cherry (two-time), Keyara Jones (two-time) and Destiny Haymer.
Bradford has signed with Clemson.
