Here are some forwards who could very easily play at the next level next season.
Oscar Cluff - Cochise
As a sophomore, Cluff's production has gone though the roof, scoring 17.4 points and grabbing 10.8 rebounds in nine games. The Aussie born forward isn't a shooter but his size, his touch inside and rebounding ability will land him multiple D1 offers.
Jeremiah Cherry - New Mexico JC
Jeremiah Cherry is the younger brother of former top-100 nationally ranked recruit Taeshon Cherry, who played at Arizona State and Grand Canyon. The younger Cherry boasts a burly frame of 6-foot-9, 245 pounds. He's averaging 8.3 points and 6.1 rebounds for NMJC this season.
Tre'Von Spillers - Moberly Area
Spillers leads all of NJCAA basketball with 4.4 blocks per game. His leaping ability, vertical athleticism and timing is all impressive, but the most impressive part of his 4.4 blocks is his height. Spillers is only 6-foot-7 and under 200 pounds. He's a really talented small-ball four who can defend and rebound and just has a knack for swatting away shots.
Jaylon McDaniel - NW Florida State
The amount of talent on NW Florida State's roster doesn't allow McDaniel to average 20 points but many D1 teams have offered McDaniel in recent weeks. The 6-foot-8 forward should carve out a pretty solid role for D1 teams.
James Flippen - Wallace State
The 6-foot-11 James Flippen is the player in this report with a D1 pledge. Flippen committed to IUPUI over the summer and it's easy to see why D1 coaches pursued him so early. He's an outstanding pick & pop shooter and can score inside with ease. Keep an eye on Flippen as the JUCO season continues and IUPUI fans should be pretty excited about the future.
